Ahmad Khan
Ahmad has over 5years of experience in research and development, market research, insight generation, and consulting services within the FMCG and pharmaceutical industries. Within the FMCG space, his expertise lies within consumer health, cosmetics and toiletries, and household care. In his position at GlobalData, Ahmad provides strategic support to key clients globally, helping them understand the factors that are going to impact their business in the near future. Prior to GlobalData, Ahmad completed a doctorate in chemistry and microbiology, which was funded by Hale on and GlaxoSmithKline. His training spanned from product development to market access, giving him experience in generating strategic and competitive intelligence, value chain analysis, and shopper research. Most recently he has focused on how consumers interact with markets, how markets determine consumers’ decision making, and what that interaction means for brands. Ahmad holds a PhD and MRes degrees from University College London, as well as MSc and BSc degrees from the University of Manchester.
