Jeremiah Caron brings more than 25 years of experience to the technology group of GlobalData as a market watcher and influential voice in the telecommunications and information technology industries. As Head of Research & Analysis, Jeremiah is responsible for overall management and content direction for the company’s portfolio of telecom and IT market intelligence, insight, and advisory services. Jeremiah is responsible for monitoring and evaluating activities in enterprise technology and software; network and IT services; consumer services, and service provider infrastructure markets, focusing on the strategies and product development work of service providers, technology suppliers and solution providers. Jeremiah was previously Publisher of CMP Media's tele.com, a business magazine for telecom and Internet service provider executives.
Emma Mohr-McClune
With 20 years’ experience in her field, Emma Mohr-McClune leads the Technology Telecoms team, portfolio and practice within GlobalData. Her team's research focus spans everything from the evolution of telecommunications networks to digital service and support strategies, go-to-market competitive intelligence and best practice for 5G value-added services and digital excellence. Additionally, Emma leads the company's Innovation IMPACT service, as well as the GlobalData Pricing and Promotions portfolio and team. Emma is a trusted and respected market research
partner to many of the world's largest telecommunications and infrastructure providers as well as a frequent conference speaker and a long-time judge of the GSMA’s Global Mobile (GLOMO) Telco awards in the categories of mobile service excellence and innovation.
Rena Bhattacharyya
Rena brings over 20 years of experience to her role as Chief Analyst and Practice Lead for Enterprise Technology & Services, including 12 years with GlobalData. She covers analytics solutions, systems integrator strategies, and enterprise communications. Her expertise encompasses AI platforms, generative AI, agentic AI, systems integration and IT services, digital transformation, and business networking. Prior to joining GlobalData, Rena was a Senior Advisor on the Market Development and Insights team at IBM and spent ten years as a Research Manager at IDC.
Emir Halilovic
Emir Halilovic is a Research Director in GlobalData's Telecom Technology and Software (TTS) team with over 20 years of industry analyst experience. In addition to managing the TTS team, his research focus is optical transport and fixed access technologies, including WDM, OTN switching, compact-modular packet-optical systems, FTTP, cable and DSL access. He has a particular interest in how deep changes in service provider networks, like 5G, NFV and software-defined networking, affect the evolution of transport and fixed access products and technologies.
Gary Barton
As a Research Director within GlobalData’s Enterprise Technology and Services team, Gary leads GlobalData’s research on SD-WAN, SASE, and fixed and wireless access services, as well as collaboration and customer contact from a Service Provider perspective. Gary also helps to co-ordinate GlobalData's coverage of the SMB market. Gary is a regular speaker at industry and customer events. Gary has been an industry analyst since 2007, originally working with Current Analysis before its acquisition by GlobalData. Gary has previously been involved with the Enterprise VPN Users Association (EVUA), regularly attending their European conferences in an organisational/support role. Gary also has experience working with the airline co-operative Star Alliance, co-authoring and editing internal white papers, and working for Barclays Bank. Gary, from Wilmslow, Cheshire, in the UK, has a BA (Hons) in Classics and Ancient History and a Master’s Degree (MA) in Ancient World Studies. Gary was also an elected Member of Cheshire East Borough Council for 12 years.
Charlotte Dunlap
Charlotte brings over 20 years of industry experience to her role as Research Director for Application Platforms at GlobalData. She covers the technologies that provide the DevOps infrastructure necessary to build and run enterprise applications and services. More specifically, she is focused on app modernization, hybrid cloud, GenAI/agentic AI, intelligent automation/RPA, observability and application platform lifecycle management (APLM) technologies (including containers, orchestration, microservices, and serverless computing). Prior to joining GlobalData, Charlotte held editorial positions at industry publications and has consulted for leading technology companies.
Amy DeCarlo
Amy brings 29 years of IT industry experience to her position as Principal Analyst, Security and Data Center Services. Amy assesses cybersecurity and hosted services with an emphasis on cloud. Amy has also served as a writer and editor at a number of industry publications including tele.com, InformationWeek, Internet Week, and Data Communications magazines, as well as a technology industry analyst covering network and applications management at Enterprise Management Associates.
